WHAT IS SMP ?

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a non-surgical, cosmetic hair loss treatment that uses specialized tattooing techniques to create the appearance of fuller, denser hair. By applying natural pigments into the scalp's epidermal layer, SMP replicates the look of hair follicles or strands, providing a convincing illusion of a shaved head or fuller hair.

This procedure is suitable for both men and women experiencing hair loss, thinning hair, or scarring on the scalp. It is a low-maintenance and long-lasting solution that can boost confidence and self-esteem for those suffering from various hair loss conditions, such as male and female pattern baldness, alopecia, or hair thinning due to medical treatments. SMP requires minimal downtime and offers a customizable, natural-looking result that can be tailored to individual preferences and hair color.

What is Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)?

Scalp Micropigmentation is a cutting-edge cosmetic procedure that uses tiny, natural-looking pigment deposits on the scalp to create the illusion of fuller, denser hair. It is a safe and effective solution for both men and women who experience hair loss, thinning, or scarring. SMP is a versatile treatment that can address various concerns, such as filling in bald patches, adding density to thinning hairlines, or even covering scars from hair transplant surgeries.

Benefits of SMP

Immediate results: Unlike hair transplant surgeries or topical treatments, SMP provides instant results. You'll walk out of our salon with a new sense of confidence and a fuller-looking head of hair.

Low maintenance: Once you've completed your SMP sessions, there's minimal upkeep required. You won't have to worry about applying daily hair growth products or investing in expensive hair care routines.

Long-lasting solution: SMP offers a semi-permanent solution to hair loss, with results that can last between 4 to 6 years. A simple touch-up session can help maintain your look for even longer.

Natural appearance: Our skilled technicians use specialized equipment and techniques to create a realistic hairline and natural-looking hair density, seamlessly blending with your existing hair.

Minimal pain and downtime: SMP is a non-invasive procedure with minimal discomfort. Many clients describe the sensation as similar to getting a tattoo. Plus, there's little to no downtime involved – you can resume your daily activities right after the treatment.

Cost-effective: Compared to hair transplants or long-term use of hair growth products, SMP is an affordable and effective solution to hair loss concerns.

How it Works

Our experienced SMP practitioners will first consult with you to discuss your goals, concerns, and desired results. We'll create a customized treatment plan tailored to your needs, ensuring the most natural and flattering outcome.

During the SMP sessions, our technician will apply pigment to your scalp using a specialized machine and micro-needles. The process may take a few hours, depending on the size of the area being treated. Most clients require two to three sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, to achieve the desired results.

If you're tired of struggling with hair loss and looking for a reliable, non-invasive solution, it's time to consider SMP

Scalp Micropigmentation is the only hair loss treatment that can guarantee results - you'll see a difference in your appearance from the very first session!

Often referred to as SMP or Hair Tattoo, this unisex cosmetic procedure provides life changing treatments for pattern baldness, hair thinning, receding hairlines and alopecia. SMP can also camouflage FUT & FUE transplant scars and add density to hair transplant areas to create a fuller look.

Hairline

Restore thinning hairlines, add definition to receding hairlines, or create a new hairline of your choice using our signature 3D stubble and shadow effect. Disguise hair loss in the temples and crown for an even shaved head look.

Hair must be kept shaved to a 0-1 length depending on extent of hair loss.

All hairlines are 100% customised to each client. The options range from light and natural, to full & crisp - the choice is entirely yours!

Our artists will take into consideration your face shape, natural hairline, ethnicity, age and desired style when designing your hairline with you.

Density

Treatment to disguise thinning hair. A shaved head is not necessary for this treatment as we tattoo around your natural hair follicles.

This treatment does not affect any current or future hair growth and is great for adding fullness to thinning hair as well as hair transplant areas..

By adding the tattooed follicles to your scalp it reduces the contrast between your visible skin and hair, which gives you the appearance of a fuller head of hair.

Your natural hair follicle size and color will be matched and replicated for an undetectable and realistic result.

Scar Camouflage

Disguise the look of scars by filling in areas where the follicle has been damaged and hair no longer grows.

Tiny hair follicles are gradually added in layers over the area to create a blended and undetectable look.

This treatment is suitable for FUT and FUE transplant scarring as well as accident and some birthmark scars. For the best result, It's recommended that the hair where the scarring is be shaved down to a 0-0.5 length to ensure a flawless blend. We also use this technique to add fullness in patchy beards (facial micropigmentation).

Women

SMP for women's hair is done by tattooing around your natural hair follicles. By adding the tattooed follicles to your scalp it reduces the contrast between your visible skin and hair, which creates the appearance of fuller hair in the areas it’s needed.

We can treat hair loss conditions like alopecia and hair thinning from hormone changes and stress. This treatment is suitable to thicken up the baby hair and hairline area

Your natural hair follicle size and colour will be matched and replicated for an undetectable and realistic result.
